HOW TO EXPRESS BREAST MILK

Requirements

A clean milk bottle or a plastic container with a cover

A cooler box or thermos flask containing ice packs

A clean and quiet place

Method
Wash your hands throroughly
Clean your breasts and discard the first few drops
Express milk until “let down” is felt. Imagine that you are feeding your baby
Fill the container and label the date & time expressed
Then immediately, place the the container into the cooler box containing ice or put in the fridge

Store the milk container into the freezer as soon as you reach home
