groups
Our mission
is to be the leading website in Malaysia to bring all mothers together to promote
and encourage breast-feeding and also informed parenting. In the area of parenting,
sometime we need resources and supports from other parents. On this page, MMB
will try to gather support groups contacts which it feels will be beneficial
to parents. Please note that the groups mentioned below are independent and
not related to MMB.

Malaysia
Mom Share Grief support group
For parents in Malaysia and Singapore
who lost a child/children through death. This group is managed by Lilian,
co-owner of MMB. (For miscarriages support, we suggest another group,
PLSG listed further down the list.) |

For parents who have critically ill
children or premature babies in the intensive care unit. This is an e-group
started by Lilian. |

Pregnancy
Loss Support Group (PLSG),
a voluntary group formed under the auspices of Women's Institute of Management
(WIM). The main aim is to
provide psychological support to women who had suffered pregnancy loss(es)
in the form of sharing similar experience but mainly being available to
comfort, share and empathize. A guidebook entitled 'Understanding and
Coping
with Pregnancy Loss' is available to help its readers to have a better
understanding of pregnancies loss and how to cope in such situations.
