Where does your child sleep?

Jan 2nd, 2008 by Lilian

My little boy is now four years old and I am still very reluctant to move him out of our room because there is nothing more soothing and calming than to watch a baby sleeps. I love putting him in his own bed in our room so that I can watch over him and calm him if he has nightmares.

However, he is beginning to get more independent and he asked to get his own room with his own mattress and sleeps with his older brothers. Parenting is such a beautiful journey. One minute you got a little, helpless baby and in a blink of an eye, you got a little boy who wants to be independent. Well, I am still negotiating with mine to keep staying on because I will hate getting up at nights to sooth his frayed nerves should he get nightmares. What about other parents? Does your child sleeps on his/her own from baby or do you prefer to let your child sleeps with you?
