What does the new year holds for us?

Many of my friends are rather down this year because they didn’t get an annual bonus. Their companies claimed that times are bad and they cannot afford to pay the employees.
So, they have to reduce their shopping for the lunar new year. Some told me they only buy a new clothes for their kids compared to previous years when they splurge more.
I suppose that is part of working life. We have our ups and downs. Maybe it is time to look for a new job and go through employee screening for better prospect.
