What does pink plus purple equal?

I asked my son what does pink plus purple equal and they gave me these answers ;
Pinple
Purnk
Bubblegum
Pastel
and to answer it, they mixed pink and purple playdoh and they get purple with a brighter purple. So do you know what does pink plus purple equal? No? How about getting some cheap pens and mix the inks and see? I suppose the blue tint in the purple will dominate the pink huh?
I mean, what does it matter, dude?
