Many websites and blogs have their pagerank reduced in this recent Google pagerank update. Even my static website, which is the main domain has its PR reduced. The site is already almost five years old and I am thoroughly tired of bothering about working on the SEO further.

Afterall, I didn’t run the site to make money but rather to share parenting tips and breastfeeding information. However, my friend who has an online baby stores has her business affected. She relied on organic traffic and when her pagerank was reduced, her traffic dropped drastically. I suggested to her to hire a website optimization firm to help catapult her traffic.

I am not sure if she is going to spend some money to get a website optimization firm because she is rather stingy. If I am in her shoes, I will be hounding them down to work on getting organic traffic again. One cannot just rely on one’s luck to survive in this online business. It needs constant work and lots of information. Though I tried to keep up with the changes, I have somehow lost the momentum.

Now, I am already too tired to play with the constant changes because things keep changing. So, folks, if you don’t have the time and you run business sites that make money, get the professionals to do it for you.
