Stage fright
May 15th, 2008 by Lilian
My little boy had so much fun with his new found friends on stage the other day. He has not attended kindy and hardly mix with kids his age. So, last Sunday, I took him to my church and there were lots of ballooons on the stage.
The kids there just couldn’t stop prancing on the stage, chasing the balloons. Meanwhile, the organisers were so afraid of them breaking the lucky draw gifts before the event.
I notice my little timid boy. The moment the organiser goes up on the stage (which my boy thinks is going to shoo him), he will hurry down. Meanwhile, all the other children will continue until they are told several times.
Now, I do not know if it is a good sign that my boy is aware of the ‘authority’ coming or I prefer him to be a bit bolder. I suppose it is good he knows his place and he knows what not to do, after being reminded once.
