I have been receiving more than one baby shower invitations from my relatives. It is like they have made a pact to get pregnant together because the invitations come at almost the same time.

It is such a heartwarming thing to see the little girls all grown up and now, having their own babies. Reminds me that I am getting old and soon going to be a grandmother in a few years time.

I like the party favours they have now which are so cute and adorable and wish I can throw my own party but oops…I am too old for that.

Is it too much if I ask people to buy gold for me as Christmas presents? It doesn’t have to be huge chunk of gold that costs a lot of money. One can just buy a tiny piece and give as present. In fact, one doesn’t even need to pack the gold, just give them the gold certificate and it is so safe that way.

However a lot of people are still clueless on what to buy for Christmas. They will buy all the corny stuffs that people will not likely use or wear. They get things we do not need.

Why don’t we just tell them that if they need to buy something, buy gold. It is the best idea for me, ever. So, let me send out a huge notice to tell everyone that I only want gold for Christmas.

Smart shoppers always wait for Black Friday to get the best bargains. They do not usually indulge in spur of the moment shopping whereby they pay full price for something. They will wait patiently. As the saying goes, good things come to those who wait.

So, are you one of the smart shoppers who do not give in to temptations but instead wait patiently and grab the best priced items when they are on sale at Black Friday? Or are you one of those who do not care and just grabbed something because it is already too late and you got to have a present?

I saw this advertisement about white elephant gifts under $20 and being a foreigner, I really do not know what it is.

Have you heard of it? I am sure most Americans have but not us Asians. Normally, we don’t buy gifts with plans for the recipients to return them because we believe it is the best choice and they should not do so. It is kind of rude in our Chinese culture, you know?

However, Americans are a lot more relaxed and if they get something they do not like, they can return it to the shop. Nice, better than us.

As we know, it is another food binge year. It is that period of the year when people are gorging on Thanksgiving foods and then, to Christmas followed by New Year. It is weeks after weeks of eating, drinking, merry making and a lot more of activities that make us fat fat fat.

I wonder if people can actually slimmed down really thin before the holidays so that they can afford to have fun without worrying? How about getting those pull up bars and start getting fit? That way one feels less inclined to put on weight after all the hardwork.
