Of children and Christmas trees

Do you know the song 1st of May by Bee Gees? There is a verse that goes like, “When I was young, and Christmas trees were tall..we used to love while others used to play…”

So, Christmas trees are good ways to remember how our children have grown. That is provided you have a Christmas tree at home and you don’t change them every year.

I have a tree at home and it is so heart-warming to see them growing up and growing taller than the tree itself.

The above photo is of course taken from a shopping mall Christmas tree. The Christmas tree at home is only four feet high and my youngest son has grown taller than the tree this year.
