My poor baby has sunburn

He went swimming this morning for only 10 minutes but my poor baby get a patch of sunburn at the back of his neck. He screams that it is painful. So, after the regular treatment, I told him we could check out the internet on how to treat sunburn. I surfed over to a baby site and he was very pleased to be treated as a baby. In case you do not know, simple cases of sunburn which does not really hurt the child can be treated at home. However, if it is severe and your child cries non-stop, do see a doctor immediately.
So, the doctor recommend using non-petroleum jelly based cream and we do have a tube of aloe vera gel to apply for him. After that, my child complains it still hurts. I use a bowl of ice water and dip a towel into it and then, apply it on the burnt part.
It is good that our homes are equip with all these little things for emergencies like the aloe vera gel, burn cream and even Blister Treatment patch because children will inevitably get themselves injured sometimes.
