Sometime back, we actually have the crazy idea to migrate to another country. So, hubby and I went into planning and getting quotations. Our plan was put on hold but during that period, we didn’t purchase any big home appliances nor even thought of changing our cars. It was supposed to be a major shift and we have to make sure that we have nothing left behind.

Apparently, from what I gathered through forums and those people whom had migrated to Down Under, they can bring the electrical appliances from here and transport there. Many said these are much cheaper than buying new ones in AUD. I learnt that international shipping is not that costly compared to the different in foreign exchanges. Therefore, right now, though we have no more plans to migrate, at least we know that it is ok for us to get a new car if we wish because auto transport too is not that expensive. There may be paperworks and red tapes to deal with but those professional movers will be able to handle it for us.
