I have asked my 11 years old if he is interested to be a server or altar boy. In fact, the two priests in my church have also joked with him to join the group of boys to serve at the altar.

However, my son refused because he just hates churchy stuffs and I am not forcing it on him. I guess if he really likes it, he will do that because all the servers have a lot of nice activities going on all the time.

I must say that some of the smaller boys are really cute when they are garbed in their robes. As for me, I can only hope because my kids are way too active and will probably not able to sit through a whole mass proper without fidgeting.
