Improve customer service with better phone systems

You would think that in this age of technology, every company will have invested in good communication systems amongst their branches. But no…..some companies are still so stingy and will not bother with giving their staffs more flexibility.
My son wanted to buy a pair of shoes from one outlet at the shopping mall. However, they do not have his size. It is not just any cheap pair of sneakers but something that is quite expensive. So, we asked the promoter to find out of their other outlets have his size so that we can go to that outlet. The girl told us that they do not have the authority to make a phone call. Feeling pissed, my hubby gave her his handphone to make the call.
Don’t these retail outlets heard of VoIP Phone Systems? They are the designer brand and calling another state is not going to kill them. If you wish to provide a better customer service to your clients, remember to teach your staffs that your company is a borderless world. Nothing is impossible.
