I went shopping yesterday because there is a big sale going on. Normally, I love going to the household department because they have such lovely decor items and small items that go cheaply. I have always loved candles and tea light candles because the glow and warmth of the fire gives a certain romantic feel to the home. No doubt I am a Catholic and candle features highly in our home and altar, I do not have the religious connotations to candles but rather see it as romantic.

However much I love tea lights and candles, I no longer can do that nowadays because my two younger sons are awfully attracted to open fire. So, I cannot even have a lighter or anything that can sets off fire because one can never trust fire with little children around.

I shall have to wait a few more years till they grow older.
