Gifts for my friends

I bought some bath soaps from Body Shop as my Christmas gifts. I gave them to a few mothers I know and you know what my kids said?
“Ma…..why do you give people soaps? Are you telling them they stink and needs a bath?”
Doh, kids. I told them, “Hey, these ain’t cheap, you know? It is not some 80 cents bar of soap but it costs RM10 per piece. Moreover, they smell so good and it is something that I would pamper myself with.”
I actually hate buying gifts. I went to BodyShop to get something for someone and since I really ran out of ideas on what to buy, I grab a bunch of soaps, ask the promoter to tie them with bows and give them away without any more wrapping papers. Nice, right?
