Now, I think I am seriously going to need some diet pills before I outgrow all my jeans.

Of course,the good news is the season is ending and I wont’ get to eat durian until next year. So, I probably should exercise more instead.

LOL, all of us have never seen this tradition. It turned out that the bride is bringing what you can refer as all her heirlooms to show to the mother-in-law that she comes from a family who could afford her gold and silver. Of course, it is just a tradition now. However, in the olden days in China, probably they have to do it to let the groom’s family know that she is rich and not to be bullied.

My little boy is trying hard to make funny faces. Nowadays, he is so conscious of the camera and when asked to take photos, he will freeze and give very fake smile.

So, instead of him feeling tense, I told him to make funny faces. Poor kid also have problem with that and need to use his fingers to form the funny faces. Such are kids. The older they get, the less they like being photographed. So, take all the pictures you want when your kids are smaller, ok?

The other day, I attended my nephew’s wedding. It was just like not too long ago when both hubby (then boyfriend) and I used to bring my little nephew around when he was about the age of my youngest son now. My sister lived in other states at those times because my bro-in-law was working there. So, my boyfriend and I would visit my sister and whenever we were there, we would take my niece and nephew out when we go touring around the states we visited.

Now, he is married. And my little boy is his age. In a glimpse of an eye, this little boy too will be married like my nephew. It is sometimes very nice to see little children growing up to a man. And yet, in those happy thoughts, lurks my own mortality. Will I be around to witness this little boy of mine getting married too?
