Eclampsia of pregnancy
Dec 10th, 2008 by Lilian
I know a lot about pre eclampsia because I had that condition when I was pregnant with my fifth son. My blood pressure has to be controlled with BP drugs and I have to monitor the blood pressure every few hours each day.
My ob-gyn assured me that it is something that happens and cannot be prevented, only controlled. My blood pressure did fall to its normal level after I had my baby but the doctor asked me to monitor them whenever I make visits to the doctor’s clinic. So far, I am lucky that the blood pressure has remained in normal level.
However, I just read on the news that too much exercise during pregnancy may cause the BP to shoot up. So, pregnant mothers, do read all about it on the internet and ask your doctor to verify. Since the source of the news I got this from is not exactly a trusted site, I won’t repeat them but you can find the eclampsia of pregnancy on the news.
