Do you have any video that needs conversions?

I was chatting with a girlfriend about taking videos of her childbirths. She is much younger than me and hence, she lives in this age where we have digital cameras that capture the delivery of her two babies in digital format. However, those of us who are in our late 30s and 40s are not so fortunate. Back then, there were only videos in those bulky VHS format. Unless we can convert 8mm film to dvd, those precious videos will soon fade and get mouldy.
In my library right now, I have a stack of videos taken during my eldest son’s kindergarten concert. We wanted to show to my youngest son what the eldest son was like when he was of the same age but unfortunately, we are no longer able to because we no longer have any video player! This is such a sad thing, isn’t it? I should have look around for experts to do film transfer . Nowadays, there are many experts who can do video conversions and they can even restore the colours. I am sure you have watched many old movies on TV which are much more beautiful in colour than they previously were. That’s technology for you.
Therefore, if you have any jobs for conversion of video from 8mm film to dvd, you better get it done real fast before time (and mould) eat away all those precious memories. It may be a bit pricey but those are priceless memories that must be captured for our future generations. I know my eldest son who is now 18 years old will want to show to his children videos of him in kindie concert. How can we miss those bee costumes!
So, moms and dads, hop over to the links and I hope you can find the solutions to salvage those old videos standing in your cabinets.
