Childhood Christmas memories

My dad indulged me with tales of Christmas Elves and Santa Claus as a child. Days before Christmas Eve, I would tried to stay awake at night to see if there are any little elves running around the house helping Santa to deliver presents. It is funny how my dad who is not a Christian would give me this special memory because that was probably the only memory I had of him because he died when I was only seven years old.
But I remembered the letter I had to write to Santa and also what I got for my first Christmas. Dad died after two years of playing Santa but praise God, today I am a Christian and celebrates the birth of Christ and rejoice that my family can carry on this tradition.
