What you need to know about diet pills

A new mother came to me with her weight problems . I tried hard to assure her that it is natural to feel a bit depressed due to the hormonal changes and body shapes. I asked her to hang on for a few more months and meantime, exercise more and watch her diet. Yet, she was all depressed as she hate getting back to work and having to get a new wardrobe.

So, I got a bit tired of asking her to trust my words. She wanted to take some weight loss pills to help her lose weight faster but I forbid her and showed her some of the side effects. I picked it from Wikipedia and I hope she will at least be a little patience. She is not currently breastfeeding and that’s part of her problem of finding it hard to lose weight too.

Does your husband smoke?

My friend’s husband smokes only cigars. She said it is not as harmful as the normal ciggies so she didn’t mind him smoking around the house with the baby around.

However, I am not too sure about this because I thought smoke is smoke, no matter what the source. But my friend insisted it is not as harmful. Anyway, he usually enjoys his cigars at the balcony after the baby has gone to sleep and hence, it doesn’t affect the baby.

This is contrary to another friend’s who smokes and she did it in the house during the day when her kids are running around.

Gosh, I have neglected almost all my blogs except for two. The two that I still regularly are my personal blog and faith blog. It is not because I don’t like blogging anymore.

But life has been hectic for me. At the beginning of this month, I was away. Then, when I came back, there were lots of things to do and I was running around filming news.

Though it is fun and very fulfilling, I have turned so much darker and the good part is a bit lighter. My jeans seem to be so much looser now. If I go on for a few more months, I think I can tell people I am one of those
wholesale liquidators and they will probably believe me.

My eldest son and his paternal grandma were not exactly good buddies. Eldest son was taken care by the maternal grandma and he adored the maternal grandma a lot.

So, there was this one day when my mother-in-law came visiting. As she didn’t always see the children, they to stay away from her. At that time, the kids were into rubber stamps and they stamp those cute little animal signs on every surface.

While they were in the living, I heard my mother-in-law shouting. It turned out that my son had stamped her forehead with a tiny, cute cow rubber stamp. I think my children can only remember that much about their maternal grandma.

This site with custom rubber stamp sure brings back a lot of good old memories.

Like we have no other ambassador

I almost choked on my breakfast this morning when I flipped through the newspaper. Apparently our Ministry has appointed an obese, fat lady who is a singer to be the ambassador. She wore this sash that says ‘Ambassador’. Of what? Of the lifestyle the Ministry is trying to promote.

Like doh! Like we have no other women than an obese fat lady to be the iconic countrywoman. Please! She is obese and a bad example to be used as a person who lives a healthy lifestyle. For goodness sake, get her some fat burners and get her to run on the treadmill 24/7 and come back when she has lost 50 kg before putting her on the papers as our ambassador please.

I am not against fat people but I am against bad choices made by the ministry, using our tax payers money.

TMNet broadband extremely bad service

My two older teens are extremely pissed that they do not have internet connection at home. We applied for upgrade to TMNet 4Mbps broadband package but the unreliable ISP provider in Malaysia provided the worst possible service.

They disconnect our current broadband connection and then, only told us that they are going to need 3-7 days to install the new one. It got all of us pissed. But I think the most annoyed are my two children because they do not have other alternatives. I am using my mobile phone internet connection so it is still bearable.

So, if you have a choice, stay away from TMNet broadband. The worst customer service, ever. I have put the links to my personal rant on my other blog. Take a look at the other complaints from my readers.

Dream weddings

I have another nephew getting married in June. Luckily, they change their destination and we didn’t have to travel to another country to attend the wedding. Otherwise, we will be dead broke as there are so many of us in the family. However, for those from the richer families, they can afford destination weddings and sometimes, the whole clans are invited and packed off for a holiday.

A famous wedding photographer told us that it is the trend nowadays to get married in exotic resorts which will doubled up as the honeymoon destinations. Relatives and friends will attend the wedding followed by a holiday. Well, since I won’t be able to afford that sort of lifestyle of packing the relatives for a free holiday, I will tell myself to go get married on his own!
