Caring for the sick

Sometimes, we show our children examples that will influence them in their adult lives. We may not immediately see the fruits of our labour until they are much older. Then, when we see that good example from them, we will rejoice that we had done something right.
Recently, I have been entrusted to take care of the meals and drinks for my ailing relative. My hubby is running around to help as much as he can. It is the least we can do because the couple are in really depressed state as the husband is not doing well at all.
Due to the busy schedules, we have less time for the children and we hardly go out to eat because I would cook some extra portions of the meals at home. No doubt it does affect our usual easy going life, we do not mind because we know our children understand that it is only right to help our siblings when they are in trouble.
These days, I am so busy until my floor is sticky and the furniture dusty. I shall wait for my twice weekly housekeeper to manage that because what is more important is to work on my online stuffs while managing what are necessary elsewhere.
