Candy canes and cupcakes

Is candy cane and cupcake or something like that?
So, whenever the Christmas shipment of candy canes arrived at the stores, I will be the first one to grab a box for the kids. They normally never finish the candy canes but it is the sheer joy of having something symbolic for Christmas.
