Candlelight

Of late, I have attended several candlelight vigils. Usually, my little boy tagged along as the vigils are all perfectly safe and peaceful.
He doesn’t know why we have candlelight vigils and it is too difficult to explain what detention is. Anyway, he doesn’t ask me so I do not feel it is necessary to cloud his little mind with so many injustice and unfair treatment.
However, he loves the flickering candles and think candlelight vigils are huge birthday party.
