If you have as many kids as I am, you will know how often we get to eat birthday cakes. It is one person’s birthday after another one. So, we sometimes, get so tired of buying another cartoon, another superhero or even another Bart Simpsons cake.

So, I wonder if other parents with more kids get the same thing? If we order a special cartoon cake, we normally need to make a huge one because the baker won’t be able to decorate a smaller one.

For older kids, we just grab whatever is available at the bakery and it has to be small enough for us to finish in one sitting. This way, I don’t need to find spaces in the fridge to fit in a large cake.
