The family shown above is Maini and Mariam (have been living for 12 years with their five children in an abandoned warehouse in Kampung Mambong, Padawan, Sarawak. — Pictures by Loh Foon Fong)
This photo caught my eyes. The mother is breastfeeding her baby. Though they may be poor, but this baby is getting the best nutrients because the mom is breastfeeding. Otherwise, can you imagine the fate of the poor little one?
So, good people out there, help this family and a few others.

Extreme hardship tackled in Bersamamu
Last month, LOH FOON FONG joined the TV3 team headed for Kuching to film two needy families to be featured in the Bersamamu reality show.

Best thing is all you need is to sms the donation. Please do it! Here’s the details:
Bersamamu is screened every Monday on TV3 from 9pm to 9.30pm. The programme will run for 13 episodes.
Readers who wish to donate to those whose plight have been highlighted on the show can issue a cheque payable to Tabung TV3 Bersamamu – BSM. If the donation is for selected individuals, please write the person’s name behind the cheque and send it to:

So, you have two choices :

apalah yg dah jadi dah jadi dgn dunia sekarang nie. manusia hanya pentingkan wang dan pangkat tanpa memikirkan nasib orang lain. kena ingat nasib kita kat dunia nie bkn selalunya baik. wahai org2 yang kaya raya, turunlah bantu mereka yg tidak b’nasib baik……. syabas tv3!!!!!!!
Earlier tis week, I watched bersamamu & tv3 highlighted abt orphans in Pengkalan Hulu in Kedah. Our family would like to do some donations to the home tis Hari Raya & also wanted to bring my 2 kids to visit the home. Could TV3 provide me with d address, contact no & contact person for d home?? Appreciate ur immediate reply. Thank you.

sy seorg p’ntn bersamamu….sy dapati beberapa ahli keluarga yg tdk m’punyai s.kelahiran dan sebarang identiti diri masing2…sy juga tdk pasti sama ada mereka warganegara tempatan @ tdk!!!yang paling teruk ialah,mereka tinggal di dlm hutan blh dikatakan tanpa bekalan elektrik yg b’terusan..tetapi mereka gunakan generator pd waktu mlm sj..(1-2jam sj)..mereka tinggal b’dekatan dgn tanah perkuburan cina yg agak lama di saleng……
hati kecil saya sering tersentuh apabila menonton rancangan bersamamu yang banyak memaparkn kepayahan segelintir warganegara yang mengalami masalah dari segi kewangan dan pendidikan,,,tetapi dalam masa yang sama saya berbangga menjadi rakyat malaysia kerana majoriti warganegara ini yang mempunyai sifat bertimbang rasa da prihatin antara satui sama lain contohnya krew bersamamu yang tidak pernah berusaha membuat liputan demi untuk memajukan ank bengsa kita,,,tidak keterlaluan jika dikatakn andalah(krew2 bersamamu) tunggak utama untuk merealisasikn wawasan pembasmian masalah miskin tegar
saya amat sukakan program TV3-BERSAMAMU!!!
