Batik printing and Malaysian arts and culture

Sometimes we are so caught up with technology and the conveniences of modern gadgets. We forget about our culture, the laid back life and the Malaysian arts.
We forget how things were once done by hand. We have factories producing almost everything at high speed.
So, it is good to step back and spend time exploring our rich Malaysian arts and culture. I took my son to a batik printing the other day to see how batik is drawn by hand. My little boy was so fascinated to see a white cloth being turned into a beautiful piece of batik.
It was a very educational trip.
