Are your teens hooked to headphones all day long?

My three older sons each have their own MP3 players. Thank God they don’t demand for iPod and settle for Creative which is much cheaper. Initially, when they first bought it, they were attached to the earphones. However, after a week or so, they stopped doing that.
So, I do not have to deal with three deaf teens/pre-teen. Otherwise, it is very frustrating to talk to them because they won’t hear a thing when they plugged their ears that way. I have read a bit about the danger of those earphones and am glad they don’t make it their habit to listen to music 24/7.
I would prefer they create ruckus at home with all their speakers blasting than total silence. Cos that way, I can just put on my Bose headphones and cut off the noise. I also do not have to worry if they can get hearing impaired being plugged with earphones.
