It is no fun having hubby working five and a half days. Before we can even enjoy the weekend, it is already Monday and he is back at work. On Saturdays, he normally reached home around 2-3 pm and on Sundays he has his regular badminton game. Therefore, there is hardly a stretch of time for us to go anywhere at all.
It is going to be like this for a while because he is not entitle to annual leave until after his probation. So, we just have to make do with short trip around the island. He told me that with his financial reporting tasks, he may not have much time to prepare for Chinese New Year too. I told him to just forget it because it only means more work for me. So, we shall just have a quiet celebration this year, hopefully minus the in-laws. Muahahar…
