I have just written a book called, MommyBest which includes 13 inpirational lessons that I learned as the CEO during the first five years as "Mommy." In the book I follow the lessons with a poignant memoir, along with a reflection page for each reader to jot down her experiences--to later use as a springboard in creating her own family memoir. I'm interested in finding out if moms are interested and excited about this type of book!

Just a brief note. Thank you for the suggestions on how to increase milk supply. However, your statement that every mother's milk supply is adequete if she nurses often and regularly is just not true. There are many women who for one reason or another (adoption, breast surgery, insufficient glandular tissue)will have issues which effect a mothers milk supply. While your statement is usually true, it is not the case for EVERY woman. Thanks for your future consideration.

I just gave birth 12 days ago. Agree with you totally on aches and pains doesn't come just in that one month but prolong exposure to all sort of elements and most importantly, your genetics.

Traditional "pui yuet" practices, boombard our system with too much stuff which might not be suitable for everyone and worse, just hearsays....

As I am staring at my little angel right now, I am telling myself, I won't breastfeed my baby with a stinky body, I won't eat too much rice wine that it will effect my breastfeeding. Nothing is more precious that her.

BTW, I showered like I used to but cut down my hair washing to alternate days. Do some chores, didn't lie down in bed except bedtime. Well to think of it, I have been on my feet on 2nd day after childbirth...
